Affiliate Terms

1. Joining the Programme

• You apply from Settings in your Rivals account. Before you can apply, two-step sign-in must be on and your ID must be verified.
• We review every application and can approve or decline it for any reason. Approved affiliates get a personal referral code and a commission rate.
• You must be at least 18 and follow our Terms of Service and Contest Rules.

2. Referring Players

• Players count as yours when they sign up through your referral link or type your code at sign-up.
• A link visit is remembered on that browser for 90 days. If the player signs up within that time, they are linked to you.
• Once a player is linked to an affiliate it never changes. A player who already has an account can't be referred.
• You can't refer yourself or any other account you own or control.

3. What You Earn

• You earn your commission rate as a percentage of the entry fee each of your referred players pays to join a real money game.
• Commission comes out of the Rivals platform fee, never out of the prize pool or the player's money. Your rate is capped at that game's platform fee.
• Commission is paid for as long as your affiliate account is active and the player keeps playing.
• Demo (free) games earn nothing. Entries that are refunded, for example when a game is cancelled or a player leaves before it starts, earn nothing.
• Your rate is shown on your affiliate dashboard. We may change it; a new rate applies to games settled after the change.

4. Getting Paid

• Commission is added to your Rivals wallet automatically when each game is settled. Your dashboard shows every payment.
• You withdraw it like any other wallet balance, under the normal withdrawal rules, including identity checks and reviews.
• You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.

5. Fair Play

One person, one account. We automatically check for links between affiliates and their referred players (such as shared connections, devices or withdrawal addresses) and review anything that looks wrong.

• Commission earned from your own accounts, fake accounts, or players who work with you to pass money between accounts is not owed.
• We can take back (reverse) any commission found to break these terms. The amount is deducted from your wallet balance.
• We can pause or close your affiliate account, and in serious cases your Rivals account, if these terms are broken.

6. How You May Promote Rivals

You must promote Rivals honestly. You must not:

• Promise or suggest guaranteed winnings, income or profit. Rivals is a skill competition and players can lose their entry fees.
• Target anyone under 18, or people in countries where real money games are not offered.
• Send spam, or use misleading ads, fake reviews or fake accounts.
• Pretend to be Rivals or our staff, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests you are us.
• Offer players cash or rewards of your own for signing up or playing, without our written approval.

Always make it clear that you earn a commission from players you refer.

7. Ending the Agreement

• You can stop being an affiliate at any time by contacting us.
• We can end or pause the programme, or your place in it, at any time. Commission already paid stays yours unless it breaks these terms. No commission is earned after your affiliate account is closed.
